The position:

We are looking to recruit a Spares Coordinator to join our Parts Usage Team. This is a travelling role ensuring accurate stock report while supporting Race and Test events. If you are a detailed, delivery focussed individual then we would be interested to hear from you.

 

The role:

Reporting to the Parts Usage Manager, you will be a core member of the travelling Parts Usage Team. You will be responsible for trackside inventory management using our ERP solution, managing the trackside lifing process and processing deliveries to and from track. You will report and update on usage at events, and liase back to the factory any parts required to maintain a healthy inventory. You will also play an important role in helping to deliver any new parts or updates to the car, and feedback on any information that may be important to the relevant stakeholders. The ability to prioritise workload in a rapidly changing environment, a keen eye for detail and a self-starting attitude are essential in this role.

 

Core skills:

  • Excellent Communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Experience using lifing systems

  • Ability to accurately manage stock using D365 or equivalent.

  • Ability to prioritise workload and react to changing situations.

  • Knowledge of delivery note and manifest creation.

  • Experience using Power BI and Sharepoint.

  • Willingness to travel internationally.

  • Previous involvement in stock control within a motorsport environment.

  • Excellent attention to details and a can-do attitude.

Role requirements:

  • Attending races, Test, PR events as required.

  • Work with colleagues on the Race Team, Parts Management and Inventory teams to accurately control race car parts and spares.

  • Communicate parts supply and return requirements with mechanics/technicians.

  • Generate reports from our lifing and ERP systems as required.

  • Assist with Sea/Air freight packing and paperwork.

  • Maintain component usage records within Lifecheck.

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness & presentation of all equipment & proactively work to maintain and improve the team presentation at events.

  • Operate certain equipment as required at events in support of the running of any cars.

  • Report any faults or issues with any equipment/components which may lead to failure.

  • Any other ad-hoc duties required either trackside or at factory to assist in the running of the team.

  • Heavy lifting of garage equipment/parts.

In compliance with national Secure Freight Consigner conditions, five years’ continuous employment, education and/or training must be evidenced and any gaps exceeding 28 days accounted for.  A criminal record check will also be carried out.  This will be explained in more detail during interview.
