About the team:

Williams Racing is constantly evolving and adapting to meet the challenges of Formula 1. Our Digital Performance Technologies (DPT) department is focused on enhancing our capabilities and providing us with a competitive advantage through the efficient use of technology.

 

About the role:

We are looking for someone to provide a key link between technology internal stakeholders and technical delivery teams, both internal and external to Williams Racing. This role ensures the delivery of service and value through continual collaboration and communication with multiple areas of our business and supply chain.

 

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will:

  • Relationships between Williams and specific external service providers, including the contracts/agreements, requests, and ongoing management of services.
  • Supporting the DPT delivery teams and wider Williams teams in the effective introduction of new services and processes and maintaining a catalogue of third-party IT services.
  • Establish, monitor, measure and report on service provider performance including OKRs, SLAs and KPIs.
  • Taking ownership of the development and improvement of services, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to understand business need and developing Continual Service Improvement (CSI) processes and reviews.
  • Help to solve IT related business problems across Williams Racing, through the provision of service delivery principles and methodologies.
  • Organise and facilitate technology related workshops and other events for service consumers.
  • Take an active role in DPT project governance and service lifecycle management.

Our Service Delivery Manager will have:

  • Extensive experience working in a similar position, ideally within the IT industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, including willingness to probe and ask questions to better understand the business and associated processes.
  • Extensive experience of establishing and measuring SLAs & KPIs.
  • Experience working in depth with supplier contracts.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong client focus.
  • Knowledge and experience of ITSM best practices.

Ideally our Service Delivery Manager will also have:

  • ITIL certifications.
  • Project Management methodology knowledge.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001.
  • Experience of creation and maintenance of Statements-of-Work (SoW) documents.
  • Experience working with outsourcing agreements.
