Role Overview:

The Technical Recruiter Vehicle Engineering will support all facets of Electrical Hardware, Software, Systems and Vehicle Integration.  Daily duties are but not limited to passive sourcing, evaluating applications, setting up interviews, closing candidates, onboarding transition, and updating ATS.  You will be required to work closely with engineering hiring managers to determine candidates must have skills and overall priority roles.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and lead key initiatives and projects with recruiting team, stakeholders, and hiring partners

  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing strategies and tools.

  • Define, design, and implement recruiting programs and search engagements for specific vehicle engineering roles. This includes understanding and mapping the talent landscape, internal calibration, and referrals, and matching those data points with the external talent supply

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop a detailed profile of target candidates. Skillfully support weighing the anticipated and immediate challenges of the targeted role,

  • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking, and managing candidates

  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships

  • Leverage search and problem-solving expertise on a variety of Global Recruiting initiatives

  • Passive recruiting using tools such as LinkedIn and Boolean searches.

  • Experience recruiting for engineering professionals including electrical engineering, software engineering primarily AutoSar, Systems Integration, Test and Validation for an Automotive OEM or Tier One supplier.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, or business, or equivalent experience working in Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful experience in automotive recruiting

  • Experience in working in both corporate automotive organizations and agencies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:

  • 5 years of technical recruiting experience in automotive engineering domain

  • Extensive recruiting experience in automotive engineering for individual contributors as well as leadership

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience working with matrixed teams

  • Experience partnering with teams, including but not limited to engineering, human resources and legal

  • Source candidates using multiple sourcing channels including internal databases, job boards, head-hunting, and networking

  • Engage candidates for strategically positioning job opportunities and internal client organizations

  • A good understanding of identifying high quality candidates and mapping to appropriate roles.

  • Build and strengthen candidate relationships to enable networking and referral based passive recruiting

  • Ability to successfully manage and facilitate life cycle recruiting activities

  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams

  • Expertise in managing a successful candidate experience

  • Strong ability to maintain a high sense of urgency

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in team environment
