General Role Overview

The Senior Manager, EE System Integration & Validation will lead and manage the EE System Integration & Validation team, including the EE Lab.  This critical function within the organization to release the state-of-art EE system for Fisker.

The Senior Manager, EE System Integration & Validation will also contribute to the Validation Strategy, Methodology, and Process for continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the EE System Integration & Validation team.

  • Manage the EE Lab.

  • Manage test execution by monitoring progress and providing technical direction and problem-solving solutions.

  • Manage test resources to ensure maximum performance.

  • Manage SW Release process.

  • Lead and manage sub-system HIL and LABCAR.

  • Lead test case development and test automation efforts.

  • Develop test processes, from initial system concept to start of production.

  • Provide test readiness, progress, and risk updates to leadership.

  • Communicate with engineering teams to align test requests, priority, and timing.

  • Procure and manage inventory of testing tools, electrical components, and lab consumables.

  • Design and build test fixtures and jigs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.  Master of Science is preferred.

  • 15 years of experience in automotive EE System Integration and Validation.

  • 5 years of experience in a management / leadership role within automotive EE System Integration and Validation.

  • 3 years of experience in the automotive industry within an Agile development cycle.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

  • Experience with HIL systems, such as dSPACE, NI, Vector, etc.

  • Experience with dSPACE Control Desk, Vector CANoe, CAPL, ECUTEST.

  • Experience with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet diagnostic standards and tests.

  • Experience with managing and executing EE system integration, validation, and vehicle commissioning.

  • Experience with configuring and using vehicle network logging tools.

  • Experience with ASPICE, CMMI, and ISO-26262 compliance efforts.

  • Experience with CAD software.

  • Strong knowledge of ISO-14229, ISO-15765, and SAE standards.

  • Coding capability for test framework developments.

  • Ability to be innovative and creative while working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally, as required.
