As a Senior Console Programmer, you will join an experienced cross-discipline team working on AAA PC and console games, where your expertise and enthusiasm will ensure that our games take advantage of and are performant on their target platforms.
Responsibilities
- Write and debug performant, easy to read C++ code
- Actively profile and ensure our games run well on all target console platforms (PS5, PS4, XBSX|S, XBO)
- Identify and fix performance bottlenecks and optimise our titles
- Implement console-specific features
- In collaboration with our compliance team, ensure compliance with platform requirements (TRCs)
- Help to reinforce teamwork and a healthy studio culture
Requirements
- At least 5 years of C++ programming experience
- Experience working in Unreal Engine 4/5
- Experience with console development & APIs
- Experience shipping multiple titles on Xbox and PlayStation consoles
- Perform the role of a technical expert, including assisting and mentoring other team members
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team
