Motorsport Games is looking for a Release Manager to join our growing video game portfolio. From product creation and configuration to certification submission and release, you will own all aspects of the release pipeline, providing visibility and clear communication around release plans, and ensuring each release is as smooth as possible.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and champion a comprehensive Release Calendar to aid in cross-team and cross-org release communication.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of all products within First Party portals, from product code to feature setup
  • Manage user access in all First party portals for users throughout the organization on all products.
  • Own the submission process from front to back, including the communication and escalation path for FQA reports, waiver requests, and resubmissions
  • Ensure quality releases by reviewing code submissions, deployment plans, storefront content, metadata, and physical packaging for compliance with submission guidelines.
  • Maintain and champion a comprehensive Release Calendar to aid in cross-team and cross-org release communication
  • Facilitate Go/No-Go decisions.
  • Implement scalable processes to accommodate variable release size and complexity.
  • Maintain release documentation and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists. •
  • Maintain awareness of all team projects and major initiatives/goals.
  • Contribute to improvements with our release procedures, to make them more repeatable, consistent, and less error prone
  • Keep up to date with our platforms' submission portals and certification requirements through review of store portals, and direct communication with external store partners. Communicate any upcoming deadlines to our internal development teams.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, and seek out opportunities to leverage knowledge and share best practices when it comes to release procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Release Manager, Producer, or related experience.
  • Experience with submission process, certification requirements, store portals for one or more partner platforms (Xbox, Windows, iOS, Android, Switch, PS4, Amazon)
  • The ability to coordinate effectively in a multi-team environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-directed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to convey appropriate level of detail for each target audience.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle fluctuating priorities and projects in a consistent manner
  • Excellent problem resolution and decision-making skills
