Rally Raid Chassis Engineer

THE ROLE

As we prepare to make our debut at the 2024 Dakar Rally, we’re looking to appoint a number of chassis engineers to support our evolving rally raid team.

A comprehensive test schedule in association with off-road specialists Neil Woolridge Motorsport is already underway, and we’re looking to grow the team to support the project.

Previous rally raid experience would be an advantage but not essential, and there will be a requirement for international travel.

​The role and responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise and leadership to vehicle builds prior to tests and events.

  • Leading car build specification and change control.

  • Defining and delivering vehicle running procedures.

  • Undertaking calculations and whole vehicle performance analysis.

  • Producing technical reports to support vehicle programme.

  • Liaising with suppliers.

  • Helping drive an integrated and collaborative approach to improving performance aspects, including identifying and resolving technical issues.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

​We’re looking to bring a group of self-motivated team players together with an enthusiastic and positive attitude; and a shared determination to deliver the very best results.

​You should be educated to degree level in motorsport or automotive engineering and have a minimum of three years’ experience within the motorsport or automotive industry.

​You should have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems, with experience and knowledge of data logging and analysis software.

You should be well organised and delivery focused, with a strong analytical approach and meticulous attention to detail.

You should be able to produce professional technical customer facing documents, and have excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills while offering a professional image at all times.
