We are looking for an Operations Administrator to join our growing team based at our Oxfordshire headquarters

This roles will assist with the purchasing of materials necessary for Venture. Their duties include product research, maintaining relationships with suppliers and finding the best quality materials at the best prices. It will also assist with sales order entries and planning of customer orders.

Responsibilities include

  • Chasing/Following up with suppliers
  • Updating the team about any delays or problems with supply
  • Sending out RFQ’s to suppliers
  • Presenting cost analyses to the department
  • Maintaining records of supplier data
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
  • Generating purchase orders to meet manufacturing requirements
  • Entering/Maintaining data on ERP
  • Entering customer orders
  • Preparing quotes
  • Raising invoices
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries

Skills required:

  • Must be competent using Excel spreadsheets
  • Speaking to suppliers/customers
  • High attention to detail
  • ERP experience advantageous
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
