Job Title – Motorsport Graphic Designer
Salary – Between £25,000 - £35,000 Depending on experience
Location - Brands Hatch Race Circuit, Fawkham, Kent, DA3 8NG
We're looking for a Motion/Graphic Designer with a focus towards our digital design strategy to join the growing team at MotorSport Vision (MSV) - the UK's foremost circuit operator.
We own and operate six world-class race circuits, including Brands Hatch and Donington Park, plus a number of related motorsport businesses, such as the British Superbike Championship.
This role will involve close interaction with the existing Graphic Design team and the Media/PR, Marketing and Web departments with a real focus on bringing our brand 'to life' through motion.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the design of the Group's websites, mobile phone applications and email templates
- Creating graphics, logos and banners (both static and animated) for website and social media use
- Creating engaging motion images / videos to really bring our sport/brand to life!
- Designing print artwork such as posters for race events, adverts, souvenir programmes, brochures, signage and leaflets
- Assisting with the design of MSV merchandise and gift items
- Assisting on other general projects to meet the needs of the business, including vehicle livery design and digital and printed presentations
- Archiving of work produced into a logical electronic folder system
Desirable skills and experience:
- Previous experience in either motion or graphic design
- A proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- The ability to produce material of high quality to tight deadlines
- Experience using Motion software would be desirable
- A confident and energetic approach with a pro-active, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
- High levels of literacy
- Knowledge around mobile and desktop web usability, responsiveness and adaptive design
- Designing mobile-first experiences for a variety of outputs - across web, email and digital media
- A portfolio that demonstrates a great eye for layout, imagery and content curation
- Animation skills - bringing imagery and graphics to life with motion
- A knowledge or interest in motorsport would be an advantage
