General Summary:

 

This position reports to the Director of Marketing or their designee and is located in Banbury, UK. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the management and punctual distribution of all team clothing, management of team licensees and the provision of ongoing support to the marketing department.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
  • Designated point of contact with our clothing suppliers for all orders & delivery schedules, ensuring the timely delivery of kit to Haas F1
  • Manage the intake, stock management and distribution of team clothing across the company, including any trackside contractors
  • Source and purchase additional team clothing and ad-hoc items as required
  • Manage the ongoing relationship with our driver race kit supplier, including the re-ordering of race kit throughout the season as required
  • Action the application of new partner logos to driver race kit
  • Responsible for the packing and fulfilment of driver kit ahead of each race weekend, including the turnaround post-race
  • Support the planning, design and ordering process for team clothing
  • Maintain the kit storage area at factory, ensuring all kit is stored in a secure and organized manner
  • Professional and cost-efficient management of all suppliers
  • Proactive account management of all licensee relationships, with responsibility for product approvals, delivery to market and regular financial reporting
  • Help prepare the guest program ahead of each race weekend. Supporting with guest planning, accreditation, gifting, hospitality presentation and ensuring that all required items are appropriately shipped to each event
  • Support with the storage and organization of team merchandise
  • Raising of department purchase orders
  • Attend all weekly marketing meetings
  • Follow all safety regulations in all venues
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing or their designee

 

Education and Work Experience:

 

  • Educated to A level or graduate level.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to plan and coordinate.
  • Strong organization, social and interpersonal skills.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Capable of working in a team environment to a very high standard and demonstrate a positive work attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems
  • A can-do positive approach and a willingness to help others is essential

Equipment and Applications:

 

  • Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to follow complex regulations related to shipment of materials and facility maintenance requirements

Work Environment Physical Demands:

 

An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require occasional extensive domestic and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.

This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
