Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our HQ facilities team. In this role you will diagnose and repair mechanical faults and electrical issues around our site. You will also complete building maintenance and repairs as required.

 As a Maintenance Technician, you will also:

  • Complete maintenance tasks as assigned by the electrical supervisor
  • Diagnose & repair electrical faults
  • Diagnose & repair building faults (roof leaks, blockages, damage)
  • Escalate issues beyond capabilities to supervisor to ensure timely repairs via 3rd party contractor
  • Ensure machine and building maintenance tasks are completed within the SLA
  • Ensure all relevant HSE regulations are adhered to
  • Carry out daily preventative maintenance checks on rotation
  • Oversee 3rd party contractors as required

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have:

  • An NVQ (Level 2) in maintenance (or similar)
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Experience with plumbing/electrics
  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude so you can be reactive of the business/team needs
  • A calm, dependable and motivated personality
  • A track record of being highly organised and punctual
  • A desire to progress and learn new skills (training will be available to upskill you during this role)

Please note that part of this role is to provide 24/7 emergency call out cover on rotation (which will include working evenings and weekends when required).
