Purpose of Role

Principal Accountabilities

  • Support the HR team flawless administration service.
  • Coordination of the new joiner sponsorship visa process, supporting candidates through the end to end process in partner with our provider.
  • Ensure all filing and related systems are always up to date.
  • Maintain accurate data across all HR systems
  • Responsible for all reference requests including new starter set up, current and ex employee requests.  
  • Assist when required with coordination of training requirements and administration
  • Coordinate employee reviews – administer ‘probationary passed’ letters, log reviews into system, arrange invites and send chaser emails to managers.
  • Support with any adhoc administration requests, for example ad hoc reporting
  • Administer new starter onboarding documentation, including occupational health referrals
  • Coordination of the work experience programme within defined windows
  • Inbox management to ensure outstanding customer service
  • Administration of the quarterly awards administration and support

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a fast paced and busy HR function preferable.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage a demanding workload on a daily basis
  • SAP HCM (or similar system) experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formula skills and data manipulation
  • Good communication skills written and verbal to all levels of employees
  • Basic understanding is required of HR practices in relation to absence, grievance and disciplinary, as well as an understanding of relevant employment law and modern employee relations practice
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
  • An interest in a career in HR is desirable but not essential
  • High attention to detail and accuracy of information
