We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing Operations to join our Marketing Team. This role is responsible for the management of the Marketing Operations Team and the day-to-day functionality of the Marketing Operations Department.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Director, this role will be accountable for the planning, budgeting, critical path, and output of the Marketing Operations Department and Sub Teams. This role will also have line management responsibilities for the Marketing Operations Team.

  • Overall accountability for the yearly Marketing Operations plan and the internal link to the ‘Heads Of’ of other Marketing Operations functions.

  • Ownership of the Marketing Operations yearly planner and dissemination of information to other Marketing Operations functions.

  • Owner of Marketing Operations Leadership Team meetings and Leadership Team workflow.

  • Ownership and Delivery of Marketing Operations All Team meetings, off-sites, Training and Development and travel.

  • Ownership of the Marketing Operations resource plan and EA Forecasts.

  • Line management of Marketing Operations Team Members and Contractors.

  • Ownership of Marketing Operations and Sub Team’s Budget submission and VIK Management.

  • Working with the Head of Marketing Operations - Projects to oversee the running of the Hospitality Clubs concepts and required resource.

  • Provide expertise and management as part of cross functional team on projects, assets, launch and collateral shoots.

  • Deliver Partner contractual rights and projects that sit outside the expertise and resource of the Partner Services and hospitality team.

  • Ownership and accountability for the delivery of Marketing demonstration events and the delivery of the ‘driving and car aspects’ of marketing driver events.

  • Ownership and accountability of the F1 Hot Laps Programme delivery, including commercial agreement and delivery of partnership rights.

  • Ownership of Driver Styling Project which falls outside of traditional Team Clothing.

  • Build processes and efficiencies into Marketing Operations and sub teams.

  • The role will be hybrid working with travel to meetings and events as required.

To be successful you will have:

  • You have extensive experience and proven competence of working in Marketing Operations, preferably with a sports sponsorship background, and be able to demonstrate relevant business-related skills and qualifications.

  • You have solid experience in managing multi-disciplinary Teams, mentoring, and maximising best in class talent.

  • You thrive on working in a fast-paced, busy environment, possess excellent communication skills and have high levels of drive to be able to make decisions and lead within a pressurised environment.

  • You have first-class organisational and time management skills and an acute attention to detail.

  • You bring personality and leadership to this challenging role and are highly motivated to deliver against agreed targets.

  • You have a flexible approach to working hours, along with the ability to work under minimum supervision with a "can do" team attitude.
