The Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team have joined forces with INEOS TEAM UK preparation for the 37th America's Cup in 2024. This project brings together two highly complementary spheres of high-performance, high-technology engineering and sporting challenge. Since August 2019, team members from our Applied Science division have been dedicated to projects with INEOS TEAM UK, helping to deliver and accelerate performance for what's often referred to as 'Formula One on water'.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Electronics Installation Engineer in the Electronics group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of electrical systems across a range of projects. We are looking for a talented individual with the motivation and determination to succeed in this challenging and rewarding environment.
The role:
As our Electronics Installation Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Design of electrical system installations in 3D CAD.

Electrical layout schemes, harness routing and electrical component packaging.

2D Electrical drawing creation.

Design review attendance to ensure electrical design work with the wider projects.

Liaison with external suppliers to provide manufacturing specifications and assembly drawings.

Initial build support to ensure electrical system reliability.
What we’re looking for:

Electronics engineering degree or similar.

Experience in delivering electronic projects across a range of disciplines in a high-tech industry

Communicative and collaborative skills to deliver effective cross departmental integration and results

High attention to detail and the ability to work independently under a limited supervision to tight deadlines
-
A can-do attitude, proven ability to lead a team to deliver electronics projects.
