What you will be doing:
As a Composite Laminator, you will be responsible for meticulously preparing and applying composite materials to create high-quality components. Your primary tasks will include interpreting engineering drawings, operating specialised equipment, and implementing precise lay-up techniques. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the production team to ensure that quality standards are met and production timelines are adhered to. Attention to detail, a keen understanding of composite materials, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key attributes for success in this role.
What we are looking for:
- Good hand skills and an eye for detail.
- A minimum of 2 years experience of Pre-Preg Composite Laminating.
- Competent in vacuum bagging of composite components.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Disciplined in following company standard operating procedures and quality systems.
- Pre-preg composite experience in motorsport, aerospace or a similar industry would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Have a positive “Can do” attitude to everyday operations and continual improvement initiatives.
Your working hours: 37 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm
Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on production needs.
