This position is located in Maranello Italy and reports to the Head of Concept & Composite Design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote teamwork and effective communication to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
- Design Project Leader for composite projects.
- Design study generation for the conceptual stage of the new car program, including component, assembly, and layout investigations.
- It will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of the F1 technical regulations.
- It will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of composite materials and composite production techniques.
- Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
- Other duties as assigned by their Manager.
Education and work Experience:
- Must have graduated in Mechanical engineering.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working as a composite design engineer within an F1 environment.
- Must have previous experience leading composite design projects from initial concept to on car completion.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- CAD Systems: Catia (expert level).
- Communication, ability to work under pressure, self-motivation, time management, conflict resolution, adaptability, willingness to learn.
