Trinity Precision Engineering is currently looking to recruit an offline programmer to join their team.
You will be tasked with creating a production method to be given to the shopfloor for machining.
This will include:
- Providing NC programs created using Hypermill
- Designing work holding or fixturing
- Appropriate tooling information and/or order specific tooling if necessary
- Setup sheets with datum information
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- You must be coming from a strong CNC background with 7 years minimum programming experience
- You must be able to read drawings and have an understanding of critical features and basic GD&T.
Desirable:
- Experience using offline software (Hypermill, FeatureCam, MasterCam or similar)
- Experience working in fast-moving, quality-focused technical environments (e.g. automotive, F1 motorsport or aerospace)
- Working in a similar role within an engineering production environment
- Working independently on high value/high accuracy machined projects
- Knowledge of tooling and how to use them in an efficient manner
- Experience in creating your own fixturing and work holding
