Business Development Manager - Automotive

If developing business within Automotive OEM’s is your bread and butter then look no further. This tier 1 will be opening a new facility, strategically based near the Automotive OEM’s. This will offer you autonomy plus a very healthy bonus structure to ensure you’re well rewarded for the results you achieve.

The opportunity;

As a Business development manager you will building on the company’s existing strong reputation and leveraging this to find new customers. You’ll be working autonomously so will be able to plan your own diary as you see fit but there will be reassuring support of the senior management team if needed. Projects will be for prestige high value supercars cars, so you’ll be doing business with some high flyers and prestigious brands.

They have a long history at the top level of the Motorsport industry and are now using their capabilities to supply into the prestigious end of the Automotive industry on some high value and niche vehicles. They pride themselves on their engineering capabilities, which will only add to the appeal to your future customers.

What will you need;

This role requires someone who is a true business development specialist, the type of individual who comes with their own ‘black book’ of contacts. The products and services are all engineering so being technically credible goes without saying but don’t worry you will have a engineer on hand to back you up with any deep technical needs.
