WRC Powertrain Dyno Technician (m/w)

Main tasks

  • Maintain and operate engine test benches including associated equipment and instrumentation
  • Operate the test console in line with our dyno procedures
  • Perform daily routine tasks such as start-up, war-up, control and performance checks to prepare the tests
  • Analyze data and create statistical overviews
  • Program test routines and automatized test runs
  • Take responsibility for the validation and development tests and observe the engine log book
  • Report faults and try to find solutions related to the dyno facility environment
  • Keep a clean and safe workspace
  • Ensure the data recording and the storage of data files

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering with a major in related fields
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in the Motorsport sector
  • Previous experience of working with engine test benches is required
  • Fluent English both written and spoken is mandatory
  • Knowledge of MS OFfice and automatized systems (Morphee, Puma)
  • Knowledge of engine management software is an advantage
  • You complete tasks with minimal guidance and work under pressure to meet deadlines
