MSV is seeking a bright and driven Assistant Circuit Manager to work alongside the Circuit Manager and the wider venue team at our Donington Park circuit in Leicestershire.
The role will primarily involve the organisation and provision of facilities for customers attending events, such as rounds of the British and World Superbike Championships and the British Touring Car Championship, along with supporting hiring racing clubs, trackday organisers and other venue users. You will look after admission control, traffic management and security teams, ensuring these teams operate efficiently and safely.
You will also be helping to ensure that events run smoothly, efficiently and meet financial targets. That means you’ll help to plan, co-ordinate events and also be there operationally to make sure everything comes together on the day.
You will ideally have three or more years’ industry experience, preferably of running events (or a motorsport team), a good understanding of health and safety legislation, and the ability to deliver a first class event however big or small. Familiarity in dealing with subcontractors and support services, including police, fire, and local authorities (including the EHO) would all be extremely valuable.
Critical qualities are strong organisational and motivational skills, being able to cope under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Possessing a winning mentality, and having meticulous attention to detail is essential.
Being a key part of our events team will involve working on some weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays.
