Don't miss your chance to make an impact!We are currently looking for a motivated CFD Engineer to be based in our HQ in Faenza (Italy).In this role you will be responsible for driving forward the engine cooling development of our race car. For all engine cooling systems (Radiators, Snorkels, ECU, etc.),this will entail taking ownership of the aerodynamic development, the methodology of CFD simulations and CFD tools correlation with bench and track test.You will play a key in role in improving the brake cooling correlation between CFD, Track and Bench Test.

COOLING DEVELOPMENT
Responsible for the development of all engine cooling systems (Radiators, Snorkels, ECU, etc.), in the full respect of the deadlines and targets given by Aero Management;
Continually improving, with the support of methodology group, the fidelity and accuracy of the CFD simulations for engine cooling development;
CFD code programming;
Proactive attitude in defining the activities to improve CFD correlation with bench and track test.
DRIVING INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and improve cooling solutions for various applications;
A strong grounding in F1 aerodynamics and CFD methods will be required to take an active role;
Work with the CFD Mechanical Group for preparation, execution and report of CFD and experimental studies' conclusions;
Support CFD Mechanical group on improving as required the brake cooling correlations between CFD, Track and Bench test;
Evaluate and recommend advanced cooling technologies to enhance system efficiency and reliability;
Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers in the team.

Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Strong PhD/Master Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer with specialization in Aerodynamics;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in CFD analysis gained in F1;
- Full understanding of Aerodynamic theories, CFD methods and CAD surfacing;
- Experience in using Open source (OF) and/or commercial CFD software;
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as C, C++ and Python;
- Experience using ANSA and NX would be considered as a plus;
- Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies;
- Strong communication and mentoring skills;
- Organized and methodical approach to work;
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach;
- Flexible and can do approach to ensure that project deadlines and targets are respected in a demanding and fast-paced environment;
- Excellent ability to manage time and priorities;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Fluency in English.
