The Job
We seek security personnel to assist with monitoring points of entry at race events during the season (March-November) to ensure that only ticketed or authorized visitors are allowed access to the property. There also is potential to be required to monitor activity throughout the property. This entails weekday, evenings, and weekend work which can include long hours outside in extreme weather, and in a fast-paced environment. The majority of security shifts will take place between the hours of 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
LOCATION: LUCAS OIL INDIANAPOLIS RACEWAY PARK
FLSA/SALARY: HOURLY / SEASONAL / $15.00/hr.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be flexible with meal periods.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under NHRA insurance policy.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
