Lead & Number 1 Race Technicians

About Us  & The Position

FF Corse is an established Ferrari team competing in a number of series and Championships throughout the UK and Europe having won over 250 victories in it's 14 year history.

Following our new programmes with Ferrari in the UK and Europe we are currently looking for an experienced Full time Lead and No.1 Technician to join our team based at our Silverstone premises to maintain, support and run a number of Ferrari GT cars at both UK and European events.

You will help maintain, prepare and run our own and customer cars and provide track and race day support in a busy season calendar at circuits in the UK and Europe.

You must have sound experience playing a Number 1 lead role in GT race car preparation and support at a GT3, GT4 or Ferrari Challenge level. Experience of recent Ferrari GT cars would be a significant advantage but not essential.

A good understanding of the importance of teamwork, efficiency and workshop care and quality are also key to this role. The ability to follow procedures and protocols as documented in our event documentation pertaining to setup, preparation, operation and safety are vital.

You will also be required to follow all safety regulations and assume any responsibilities or duties delegated by the Race Team / Track Day Manager and Workshop Manager. You will be customer facing so you must have good communication skills and at all times represent FF Corse in the appropriate manner.

Essential requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years motorsport race / technical / mechanical GT experience
  • An extensive knowledge of race car preparation, setup and maintenance
  • Excellent attention to detail and be keen to learn and take responsibility
  • Ability to work within a team but also manage tasks without supervision
  • Have a positive and proactive approach and a willingness to learn
  • A mechanical aptitude gained within the Motorsport environment
  • Understand the importance of presentation and communication

Desirable requirements:

Previous experience working with Ferrari 458 and 488 GT competition cars would be a definite advantage. You will have a full understanding of the process of track day, test and race days, and the importance of being customer facing.
