The positions

Following our new programmes with Ferrari in the UK and Europe we are currently looking for a number Full time Technicians to join our team based at our Silverstone premises to maintain, support and run a number of Ferrari GT cars at both UK and European events.

You will help maintain, prepare and run our own and customer cars and provide track and race day support at circuits in the UK and Europe.

You will need to have sound experience of race car preparation and support at race events as well as a good understanding of the importance of teamwork, efficiency and workshop care and quality.

The ability to follow procedures and protocols as documented in the company event documentation pertaining to setup, preparation, operation and safety are key and you will need to report any reliability or quality issues as they occur. You will also be required to assist in the set up and operation of the garage and its infrastructure, follow all safety regulations in all venues and assume any responsibilities or duties delegated by the Race Team / Track day Manager and Workshop Manager. You will be customer facing so you must have good communication skills and at all times represent FF Corse in the appropriate manner.

Essential requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years motorsport technical / mechanical experience
  • A good knowledge of race car preparation and maintenance
  • Excellent attention to detail in all areas
  • Ability to work within a team but also manage tasks without supervision
  • Be keen to learn and take responsibility
  • Have a positive and proactive approach
  • A mechanical aptitude gained within the Motorsport environment
  • Understand the importance of presentation and communication

Desirable requirements:

Previous experience working with Ferrari 458 and 488 competition cars would be a definite advantage. Ideally you will have a full understanding of the process of track day, test and race days, and the importance of being customer facing.

Some technical IT skills and a willingness to learn and develop are key to success in this area.
