We are searching for a Merchandiser to join our growing Merchandise and Licensing team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team and develop a thorough understanding of Merchandise and Licensed product at a Formula One team.
The Merchandiser is pivotal to the smooth running of the Merchandise department. The successful candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders within the Merchandise and Licensing, Commercial and Marketing departments as well as external suppliers to provide a range of support to the wider team.
We’re looking for someone who is ambitious and proactive to deliver operational excellence, and support managers on merchandise programmes.
As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for:

Support the Head of Merchandise to maximise the sales and profitability Williams of merchandise collections.

Analysing Ecommerce, Fan Zones, events, and activations to deliver in-season actions that maximise revenue opportunities.

Support creative and merchandise teams (design/development) in the creation of product and innovations.

Provide relevant analytics to support commercial decisions, taking appropriate action to influence the achievement of departmental objectives.

Support the merchandise team in the daily operations of the department essentially ensuring the right product is in the right place, at the right time.

Prepare sales reports for weekly Product Trading meetings. Suggest actions, highlight risks and opportunities to meet future business needs.

Investigate size ratios of product bought vs. product sold to improve the efficiency of future orders.

Maintain all product information tools ensuring excellent data quality.

Assist with Product Catalogue preparation and set up at internal meetings.

Assist in sample management of key, core and heritage products.

Assist in order processes, raise orders and help facilitate invoices.

Closely manage requests from partnerships and commercial teams for all Williams merchandise.
What we are looking for from our Merchandiser:

An existing Assistant Merchandiser or experienced and confident MAA looking to take the next step.

Excellent Excel skills , with a high level proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs.

Demonstrate logical analysis and positive problem solving skills

Dynamics 365 ERP experience would be beneficial but not essential

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.

Detail orientated, solutions focused and proactive. Using their initiative to problem solve and build relationships quickly.

Strong analytical eye and excellent admin skills.

Adaptable, with the ability to support on multiple projects on different timelines, you thrive under pressure, and can meet key deadlines and timeframes.

Knowledge/interest in clothing/manufacturing process.
Whilst our main Factory site is based in Grove, Oxfordshire, you would be able to utilise our London location for this role.
