What you'll do...

  • We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic driveline calibration engineer that can thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced atmosphere working on multiple technologies with complex system and vehicle level interactions to deliver sophisticated control and vehicle level specific attributes.
  • Calibration and development of driveline technologies across ICE/Hybrid vehicle level architectures to deliver program specific attributes.
  • Collaborate with multiple cross functional engineering teams to develop control systems and calibration synergies for current and future programs
  • Conduct vehicle testing and development at remote locations (On-Road, Off-Road, Cold/Hot Weather, etc.)
  • Provide calibration support to cross functional teams for on-going and future development

You'll have...

  • Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in automotive calibration with a focus on driveline and torque delivery to the wheels is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience/proficiency in the ability to read and understand MATLAB/Simulink models along with C-code is a must
  • 3+ years of experience/proficiency in understanding cross functional vehicle level system interactions (Chassis/Driveline/Transmission/Powertrain) under various driving scenarios is a must
  • 3+ years of experience/proficiency in the use of common calibration tools, including but not limited to ATI Vision, dSPACE, Vector/CANalyzer, etc.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to understand fundamental system level vehicle dynamics
  • Must be able to travel (8 – 12 weeks per year in total) domestically and internationally to support seasonal testing and associated vehicle development in remote locations

  • Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in automotive calibration with a focus on driveline and torque delivery to the wheels is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience/proficiency in the ability to read and understand MATLAB/Simulink models along with C-code is a must
  • 5+ years of experience/proficiency in understanding cross functional vehicle level system interactions (Chassis/Driveline/Transmission/Powertrain) under various driving scenarios is a must
  • 5+ years of experience/proficiency in the use of common calibration tools, including but not limited to ATI Vision, dSPACE, Vector/CANalyzer, etc.
  • Ability not only to read software but also ability to develop code in prototype environment
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict management skill
  • Strong ability to multi-task with hand-on approach
  • Experience in field of mechatronics
  • Interest in general motorsports (On-Road/Off-Road, Formula SAE, SCCA, etc.)
  • Proven record of documentation around system design/integration/calibration and associated sign-off documents
  • Excellent written and communication skills, comfortable presenting to managers and technical leaders
