As a Senior Project Manager at Ricardo Performance Products, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of engineering projects for New Product Introduction (NPI) to the manufacturing facility. Ensuring excellent two-way communication of expectations, requirements and results against project targets and developing timelines and managing project teams to deliver our NPI projects to these targets.
This role involves working in a small team to validate high quality transmission components and casings mainly for the motorsport / aerospace industries. With a right first-time philosophy and a flexible and efficient approach to the task at hand. You shall be working with Mitutoyo coordinate measuring machines both setting and operating to meet the increasing demands of our continued growth in our Casing machining section. Knowledge of programming with Mitutoyo Software would a distinct advantage.
The Candidate
This role will involve programming, setting and operating CNC Gear Grinding Machine Tools (Opal & Hofler) where you will be grinding components for the Motorsport and Aerospace Industries.
As our industry spread and client base expands you may be manufacturing for other industries. You will be responsible for inspecting your own work and the ability to be being able to interpret and qualify the results of the inspection is essential.
We are looking for an experienced and quality conscious CNC Machinist to join our CNC Multitasking lathe team within our motorsport division. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is key as our customer’s requirements are as fast as the vehicle’s the components end up in.
