Hendrick Motorsports, a leading NASCAR Motorsports operation, is currently seeking a part-time Pit Assistant Specialist. The candidate will be responsible for pit practice set up which includes wheel and tire cleaning and prep, lug nut gluing, impact gun nitrogen, hose and regulator set up, cleaning and pit surface maintenance. The candidate should be able to install and repair mechanical systems or components of the race car, such as brakes, suspension, driveline, steering, cooling system and exhaust system.

POSITION SUMMARY Part-time (25-30 hrs/wk) position assisting metal shaping technicians and supervisor with maintaining equipment and work areas. Utilizes fabrication skills to assist with very basic fabrication components. Responsible for learning to set up and maintain various metal cutting equipment such as laser, waterjet, and manual press brake and improving fabrication skills.
