We are seeking a Wind Tunnel Technician who will uphold and provide a service to our customers in the Wind Tunnels effectively and efficiently as possible within the time constraints given.
You will be responsible for the smooth and effective running of our wind tunnel, and for the execution of test programmes defined by the Aerodynamicists. Your role will include the installation, fitting, and modifying of models to meet required specifications. You will be a team player who can work closely with others being flexible and committed at all times. Complying and adhering to the company’s health and Safety policy at all times, you will constantly be looking at improving quality and accuracy within the group.
Possessing an engineering qualification, you will ideally have experience in the race car environment. Previous wind tunnel experience would be advantageous, however a practical hands on approach with vehicles is just as significant. The successful applicant will demonstrate the drive and motivation to make a difference and do what it takes to win.
With a flexible approach to working hours, you will be prepared to work a continental shift pattern of days and nights.
