Work Summary

Elite Trailer Manufacturing in Oklahoma City is looking for full time Welders to work in our Oklahoma City manufacturing plant.

4-Day work week is Monday to Thursday with additional overtime as needed on Fridays.
Elite designs and builds custom aluminum horse, stock, motorsports and specialty trailers.

Essential Functions

A Welder will assemble material pieces needed to fit and fabricate components, sub-assemblies and structures using MIG or TIG welding practices on aluminum or steel components.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Reading and Understanding Engineering Prints and Bill of Materials
  • Welding Aluminum Structures or Components
  • Welding Steel Structures or Components
  • Securing or Tack Welding components in place to be Welded
  • Fitting of Parts and Components with High Accuracy
  • Maintaining a High Level of Weld Quality

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean and organized work environment
  • Must maintain positive work attendance
  • Maintain high level of performance without sacrifice to operating procedures or safety rules
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge and skills of trade
  • Update Supervisor on all work assignments as needed
  • Additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • A welding test will be a part of the application process
  • Applicant must have proficient math skills
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to travel throughout facility (ADA Accommodations Available)

Required Skills

  • Aluminum welding or horse trailer experience a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus, but not required
