Welder - 2nd Shift

Summary: Responsible for the setup and operation of welding machines by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Sets up and operates welding machines to weld metal parts according to work orders, blueprint layouts, and verbal instructions.

2. Regulates flow of gases for proper mixture.

3. Maintains tools, gauges, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.

4. MIG & TIG experience

5. Complies with company policies and procedures while paying special attention to safety regulations.

6. Uses inspection gauges such as verniers, scales, micrometers and pin gauges.

7. Follows blueprints to meet product specifications and maintain tight tolerances.

8. Reports production discrepancies to management.

9. Performs inspection of completed product in accordance with company quality standards.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Specialized Training:

One to two years of vocational training in welding preferred.

Weld Robot experience is required
