Web Content Specialist

Holley Performance Products seeks a Digital Marketing Specialist for a full-time role within an aftermarket automotive organization in Bowling Green, KY. This role works collaboratively with the Web Marketing Manager and the Product Management team to support Holley’s digital marketing strategy. You’ll be a part of a highly talented group of marketing and web professionals.

The Web Marketing Specialist position is responsible for assisting in design, layout and implantation of Holley’s website properties user experiences. Aids in conceptualizing website’s design ideas based UI/UX best practices, assisting in creating wireframe mockups, landing pages, and optimizing digital properties for maximum performance, scalability and responsiveness.

 

Assist with new online features and content change requests from internal business stakeholders, as well as conversion improvements, rich media tools & applications, web and mobile site analytics and reporting, and the project management of new Internet marketing projects to benefit Holley’s business.

 

Role and Responsibilities

This role works closely with IT team throughout the project, assisting with pre-launch and post-launch plans; tracking of Web site metrics, staying on top of trends in Internet marketing, and making recommendations to improve sites and drive new opportunities.

 

  • Website content optimization
  • Assist with content modifications, additions and deletions, and implementing approved digital enhancements on website and its platform
  • Ensure our corporate websites have accurate product information, features, photos, videos, specs and more.
  • Control quality of work across digital platforms. Includes (but not limited to) ensuring content renders correctly on all browsers and devices
  • Assist in ensuring best SEO practices for web content
  • Assist with other technical production duties as needed, such as videos, images, design comps and wireframes
  • Work with internal partners to develop realistic, creative and technical solutions based on the needs of the business bringing new digital content from the design phase all the way through to completed development while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Help with brainstorming and implementing new features to augment site functionality

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Must be able to easily handle day-to-day maintenance tasks and maintain a workload of projects
  • 2 years: Web experience, preferably on a large, consumer-facing e-commerce website
  • Being a fast, independent learner able to master new skills quickly
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Four year degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work with a team and independently
  • Self-starter. Proven ability to drive projects to completion with good decision-making

 

Preferred Skills

  • Hands on aftermarket automotive knowledge strongly favored 
  • Web site management skills a strong plus
  • Web Design Skills
  • Understanding of HTML5, CSS and browser capabilities
  • Fundamental understanding of HTML/CSS concepts
  • General knowledge of basic SEO best practices
  • Experience in WordPress
  • Marketing knowledge preferred
  • Resourceful and able to troubleshoot issues
  • Social media, photography, videography or design experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
