The Video Producer/Editor (Preditor) is part of Motorsport Network and is responsible for editing and production of original content for all Motorsport Network platforms; Digital, Social & Broadcast. This position is based in the main office of Motorsport Network in Miami, FL. This person will be responsible for daily video content production working with on-camera talent both in the studio and during field production.

Major Duties:

  • Responsible for editing video, as well as leading the production of highlights, digital originals, and clips from Motorsport.TV
  • Work to create unique video clips, highlights and other video clips for the web and social media
  • Collaborate with the video team to plan and help schedule video shoots and edits, and work with the Director of Production on shoots as needed
  • Shoot, edit and publish segments for Motorsport.com and Motorsport.TV
  • Develop strong interpersonal relationships with counterparts in our linear broadcast TV production team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of shooting and working with different cameras
  • Advanced knowledge of lighting
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using editing software: After Effects, Photoshop and Avid, Final Cut Pro, Premier or equivalent
  • Excellent editing skills, news judgment, and understanding of storylines in multiple forms of motorsports competition
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital editing or video production in a professional environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to watch Motorsport.TV and view Motorsport.com website on a regular basis
  • Ability to produce multiple projects from inception to completion independently
  • Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
  • Ability to work unconventional hours, weekends and holidays
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
