As the Vehicle Engineering Coordinator, you’ll be intrinsic to deliveringVehicle Attributes Excellence in line with program timing. You will be a key player in the Vehicle Engineering Team, at FF, the key technical coordination department for the product creation process supporting Attributes development and Vehicle Engineering.
Operational duties will involve:
- Working closely with the Vehicle Engineering Manager, Vehicle Chief Engineer, Attribute leaders, Product definition and Program teams to enable delivery of vehicle attributes to deliver product in line with expectations
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the Vehicle Technical Specification
- Manage and run Vehicle Integration / Engineering Team meetings to support and track delivery of the vehicle attributes
- Support/conduct whole vehicle, attribute and system benchmarking and help to generate appropriate targets for the product.
- Assist in concern resolution with engineering and attribute teams including regular reviews and reporting as required.
- Assist with management reviews and drive assessments as required.
- Act as stand-in for the Vehicle Engineering Manager / Leader as required
- Coordinate management reviews and drive assessments as required
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering
- Whole vehicle or complex system programme coordination / management experience.
- A good level of understanding of full cycle product creation from target setting through to vehicle sign off processes and into successful launch / manufacture
- Excellent communication / presentation skills
- High levels of personal organization and motivation
- A good level of understanding of all vehicle systems
- Good problem solving techniques and ability
- High drive, self-motivated and able to deliver under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of engineering Premium / EV platforms
- Attribute definition specialism
