Successful candidates will be trained to manufacture complex looms that are widely used in various motorsport, aerospace and marine applications. These include F1, NASCAR, MotoGP, WSB, BSB, and various Ocean Racing vessels.
Full training will be offered in the following areas:
- Interpretation of complex electrical (schematic) circuit drawings
- Manufacture of system 25 wiring assemblies (industry standard)
- Contra helically laid wiring looms
- Use of system 25 products (heat shrink moulded parts and tubing)
- Splicing (joining) of wires, both solder and crimp
- Termination of connectors (Mil-Spec / Autosport connectors)
- CAD software
