We require a Workshop Assistant to join our busy workshop on a full time basis.
We have an engineering Workshop at our premises were the ideal candidate will be expected to start as a Workshop Assistant on the rotor/disc department with the view of training to become a machine operator manufacturing brake disc and brake rotors
Must have keen interest in engineering or automotive
Must be a hands on person
Competitive rates of pay and full training will be given to the right candidate.
Duties:
- Assisting the machine operator
- Keeping the areas clean and tidy
- Following instructions from the machine operator
- Some heavy lifting is required
- Loading and operating Machines with training and supervision
Other Duties:
- Helping other departments as and when required
Requirements:
- Willing to train and progress within the company
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions exactly
- Machine operator experience a bonus but training will be given
- Highly organised and responsible
- Motivated
Hours of work:
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
