Job Description

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join the Operations Team in the position of Track Services Technician based at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Employee will be responsible for track preparation, maintenance, and restoration.
  • Track cleaning (sweeping, blowing, applying and picking up absorbent, washing/scrubbing fluids off of the track, etc.).
  • Track preparation (setting walls, cones, tires, cabling, belting, air walls, etc.).
  • Reconfiguring the track between oval, full road course, modified road course, short road course, and drag strip.
  • General maintenance around the facility.
  • The ability to operate many different pieces of equipment including vehicles, lifts, and other heavy machinery.
  • Installing and storing signage throughout the property.
  • Painting
  • Assist with fleet management and inventory.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Hours will vary but will include all hours of operation, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary to attend events and to fulfill job responsibilities. Acceptance of work hours customary in the field of sport/entertainment is necessary.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license.
  • Experience in and around motorsports is preferred.
