Track Services Restoration Liaison

NASCAR is seeking talented professionals to join our team as a Track Services Restoration Liaison.

This position acts as the NASCAR Track Services liaison with race track operations and restorations teams at regional race tracks. This includes pre-event, during and post-events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•    Work closely with the Regional Operations and Restoration teams on upcoming events.
•    Review the Track Services Pre-event Checklist for compliance with the track services standards and discuss any deficiencies or concerns.
•    Travel to and from NASCAR National Series Events to act as a resource to the operations and restoration teams.
•    Ensure compliance with required training and assist teams with any compliance issues.
•    Projects a professional company image though verbal and written communication. Presents self in a professional manner and have ability to interact with all levels of organization internal and external.  
•    Listens to others, ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively, responds to manager’s instructions and accepts feedback and team collaboration.
•    Project a positive image to internal (employees) and external (vendors, other sports professional, community members) customers, 
•    Dependable transportation to and from work is required.

Percent of travel required:  90%, including weekends.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
Minimum of five years experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient with Company-provided hardware and software.  Additional computer skills required are proficiency withe web-based software applications, access control software applications and internet search engine software.

OTHER SKILLS
Communicate effectively and professionally at all times, comfort and experience with public speaking, exercise excellent managerial judgment, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, problem solve and be a team worker. 

REASONING ABILITY 
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
