The opportunity to join our R1 INDOOR KARTING Team has come. We are currently looking to fill several part time track crew positions.
Our Track Crew Team is an essential and critical component to our overall mission of delivering a world-class experience. As a member of this team, you will be directly responsible for setting the stage for each customer that walks through our door. Here’s what some of your job duties will be:
Assisting drivers in starting their race - Greeting drivers upon entering the pit area in a professional and positive manner, and assist them as necessary with any equipment and kart adjustments.
Monitoring race activity – Monitoring races, watching for any unsafe driving or inappropriate behavior that does not comply with facility rules.
Assisting stopped karts – Assisting drivers that may come to a stop for any reason, helping them safely return to their race.
Assisting drivers upon completion of their race – Assisting drivers upon completion of their race by directing all karts to their appropriate staging lane, and guiding drivers safely to the track exit.
Maintaining the track - We take a lot of pride in our facility and it is critical that it is kept clean and organized at all times. Maintaining the quality of the track by cleaning barriers and surfaces, straightening shifted barriers and maintaining the overall appearance and function of the track and pit areas.
Our team members have constant interaction with a variety of customers, from first time drivers to experienced enthusiasts. Because of this, you must be able to display a professional positive attitude at all times. We also expect all of our team members to adapt to diverse settings that will change rapidly from walk in customers to groups of executives visiting for a special event; helping everyone feel comfortable and welcome.
