TFS Sales/Customer Service Rep

SUMMARY: Solicits orders from customers and dealers via telephone and email, and also assists customers with part selection, installation, troubleshooting, pricing and availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct sales and key orders via phone, email or in person at events
  • Assist with maintenance and follow-up for Dealer sales accounts.
  • Provide customers with tech support including product tech specification, parts selection, application, installation and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Provide customers with service including pricing, special orders, drop ships, order status and ETA, returns, and order maintenance.
  • Communicate with Engineering, Quality and customers to determine the disposition and resolve customer technical questions, quality concerns, warranty claims, and returns.
  • Follows departmental procedures, best practices, and policies.
  • Assists with social media and on-line forum accounts and correspondence.
  • Represents Trick Flow at various motorsports events and trade shows as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one year certificate from college or technical school preferred; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A strong knowledge and understanding of the high performance/motorsports industry and the parts sold by Trick Flow is required.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Competent with computer systems including main business system software.
  • Highly knowledgeable with hands-on experience of automotive systems, engine assembly, function, and performance modification.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed technical concepts with customers.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and conflict in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, balancing team and individual responsibilities
  • Ability and desire to learn from team members, and learn from mistakes with a positive attitude
  • Must be well organized and have strong planning skills.
  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
