Test Technician

Are you an experienced Test Technician interested in testing high-performance electric motors and providing vital input into the development of products? Would you like to work in a fast-paced environment working on prestigious motorsport and automotive projects?

We are looking for an accomplished Test Technician to be part of our evolving team, running a wide range of powertrain project testing at our purpose-built test facilities in Milton Keynes.

2018 was an exceptional year at Integral Powertrain, two of our high-power density Integral e-Drive motors powered the record-breaking run at Pikes Peak in the Rocky Mountains where the times for electric vehicles and the overall speed record were smashed.

Our Test Technician will
Carry out component testing duties using a variety of test equipment Installation and removal of unit under test components Carry out testing duties at our other MK based sites during periods of high workload Prepare test reports for in-house Engineering Staff and Customers Present test data to for Engineering and for Customers Carry out maintenance duties as required on test equipment Assist with equipment calibration as and when required

The successful Test Technician will hold a relevant engineering qualification, ideally a Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent and have strong planning and organisational skills coupled with a proactive approach and a high level of task ownership.

You will have strong mechanical skills with previous experience of mechanical product testing, ideally electric motors, engines or complex technology.
