You will utilise your engineering expertise and skills to provide support to our Automotive Project One programme and Hybrid Technical Centre’s Test Facilities. Your core responsibility will be to provide fast and effective resolution to issues and contribute to the continual enhancement of world leading Testing facilities.

If you're successful in this role, you'll…
- Effectively provide first line technical fault knowledge and support for all the test facilities
- Resolve and provide key solutions on electrical, mechanical and control issues that could arise with the breakdown of any engine, rig or battery test facility
- Take accountability and resolve issues that may arise include problems with fluid conditioning systems (oil, water & fuel), electrical wiring issues, breakers, resets and software reconfigure on all ‘Testbed’ automation systems
- Make decisive judgements on time sensitive and critical operational solutions by collaborating with the wider test teams, stakeholders and external suppliers
- Support/lead Automation and Control System Project work i.e. new configuration for the Testbed control systems for a new test process (typically using/in the PUMA environment) or assisting in the design and implementation of a new test rig.
