Technician - Composites Production

The position:
We are currently looking to recruit a Composite Technician to join our in-house manufacturing facility here in Grove, Oxfordshire. In this role you will manufacture high quality components for the Composites Department within sufficient time to meet the demands set out by the development and production plans for the formula one race car as well as external customers. In this role, you will be utilising your high-level skill set to produce a variety of structural and non-structural composite components

The role:
This is a varied role in an exciting and fast paced environment and to succeed you will need to be adaptable, demonstrate initiative along with the ability to work as a team to meet tight deadlines. Problem-solving, along with attention to detail and a can-do attitude, are key attributes that bring success to the role. With a collaborative approach, good communications and organization skills, you will enjoy working as part of a team and relish a challenge.

Skills you'll use every day:
The successful candidate will have a good level of knowledge around manufacturing technology relating to composite components. Operationally you will ideally have experience with mould making, component manufacture and trimming and fitting. They will be required to liaise with other departments such as the Drawing Office; therefore, good written and verbal communication skills are essential to the success of this role.

Core Skills:
Candidates will possess a recognised apprenticeship or relevant experience in a similar environment as well as demonstrable skills in at least two of the following -

Trimming
Fitting
Assembly
Laminating
