Technical Support

Based at our Milesburg, PA facility, this position involves all aspects of customer support. It includes a heavy emphasis on phone trouble support. Help customers implement CENTROID's motion control systems applied to milling machines, lathes, wood routers, and other special machines. Knowledge and experience with industrial machinery, electronics and electrical a big plus. Assemble, debug, troubleshoot, and use test electrical and electronic equipment to solve customer problems over the phone and at customer sites.

Strong PC hardware and software problem solving skills required. People skills via the phone is a must. Debug Centroid control systems in-house and in the field. Typically travel a few days per month. These positions require an interest in mechanical and electromechanical devices. Support our distributors and their salespersons on the phone and through demonstrations and training. Web page maintenance skill a plus. 

Candidates with the required background will undergo intensive on-the-job training at Centroid in Milesburg, PA (Centre County, near State College and Penn State). Sales incentive program available. Advancement to project manager, account manager or sales and marketing is possible. This position requires occasional overseas travel in the far East (Taiwan, China, Korea).
