Technical Sales Associate

JOB OVERVIEW:

  • Receive customer calls and provide product specifications, technical information, pricing and delivery to achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Establishes and maintains industry contacts that lead to sales opportunity and revenue.
  • Researches and develops potential customers. Follow-up on sales leads and make cold calls.
  • Provides problem resolution and troubleshooting expertise to customers.
  • Writes customer correspondences. Return e-mails and voicemails in a timely manner.
  • Attends race and show events as needed.
  • Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target market.
  • Work closely with other Sales Team members to service current and potential customer needs.
  • Input and participation in the technical development of products is expected.
  • Promoting Dart products through direct interaction with customers.
  • Influence and assist customers by using technical and industry knowledge.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree from a technical school preferred or a combination of experience and education.
  • Experience in automotive aftermarket high performance segments is preferred.
  • 1 year of sales/customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of internal combustion engine and its components and an understanding of targeted market segments is highly desirable.
