JOB OVERVIEW:
- Receive customer calls and provide product specifications, technical information, pricing and delivery to achieve sales and revenue goals.
- Establishes and maintains industry contacts that lead to sales opportunity and revenue.
- Researches and develops potential customers. Follow-up on sales leads and make cold calls.
- Provides problem resolution and troubleshooting expertise to customers.
- Writes customer correspondences. Return e-mails and voicemails in a timely manner.
- Attends race and show events as needed.
- Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target market.
- Work closely with other Sales Team members to service current and potential customer needs.
- Input and participation in the technical development of products is expected.
- Promoting Dart products through direct interaction with customers.
- Influence and assist customers by using technical and industry knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree from a technical school preferred or a combination of experience and education.
- Experience in automotive aftermarket high performance segments is preferred.
- 1 year of sales/customer service experience.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of internal combustion engine and its components and an understanding of targeted market segments is highly desirable.
