Overview

We are looking for an experienced EV engineer and project manager to support the coordination of the many project activities within Powertrain associated with our second vehicle. You will ensure that both our internal liaison within Powertrain and our reporting within the business is delivered to a high standard. Since you will have contact with all aspects of our activities on this vehicle there will be a natural opportunity to have broad input into the program delivery. You will report directly to the VP of Powertrain, and be the primary contact point for the vehicle Program Team on Powertrain topics.

Responsibilities

  • Own (maintain, track progress with) Powertrain and Thermal Project Plan

  • Own the interaction meetings with key suppliers (agendas, minutes, issues tracking)

  • Ensure the VP Powertrain is kept alert to critical factors in timing, program logistics

  • Take responsibility for assembling progress briefings from Powertrain to Fisker Program 

  • Take responsibility for detailed tracking of progress towards Gateways 

  • Support liaison with key suppliers

  • Support the establishing of a culture of efficient delivery and mutual responsibility across the Powertrain team

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant professional experience

  • BS or MS in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:

  • A very organized and structured approach to complex tasks and delivery packages

  • Good experience of automotive programs through to vehicle launch

  • First-hand project management experience is strongly preferred

  • Experience of EV vehicle development, preferably in a powertrain capacity

  • Experience with requirements management tracking (for example using DOORS, Polarion or JAMA)

  • Experience of effective supplier interaction

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
