Multimatic Motorsports Europe is an expanding division of Multimatic Inc.
The team is seeking to recruit a Technical Buyer. The successful candidate will be required to manage purchase orders and requisitions, and work cross-functionally with engineering and other business activities to identify cost-saving opportunities. In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must have proven experience in the automotive industry and preferably motorsport.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders and dealing with suppliers
- Progress chasing to ensure delivery obligations are adhered to
- Assisting in maintaining an accurate BOM and reporting issues and shortages
- Making recommendations to purchase material in a “just-in-time” environment
Education & Experience Requirement:
The candidate for this role will ideally have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in purchasing mechanical, composite and electrical components in an automotive environment.
Must have experience in managing purchase orders, requisitions, and possess strong attention to detail along with a high level of computer literacy.
Must be fully competent in reading and understanding technical drawings.
The ability to take ownership and manage the purchasing process from end to end is key and an understanding of materials and machining would be an advantage.
This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset towards purchasing along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
