Technical Buyer

You are in charge of the plant, and in interface with the design office, production, methods and procurement, you manage all purchases of technical parts mechanical, raw materials, subcontracting, investments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the company's supplier panel,

• Perform the appropriate sourcing (France and Europe) on new parts, new materials,

• Check technical files, mechanical parts to plan, unit or very small series, select the potential subcontractors, consult, negotiate and pass the first orders according to the schedule,

• Negotiate with the selected suppliers and / or service providers the optimum commercial terms of volume, price, deadline, quality, terms of payment and partnerships,

• Measure / monitor / secure / optimize supplier risks; pilot and anticipate the burden of major production suppliers,

• Being the guarantor of the costs, while respecting the requirements related to the technical specifications,

• To be the referring contact of a subcontractor and to follow up,

• Address non-compliance and resolve disputes,

• Manage the purchasing database,

• Follow the purchase budget to ensure margins,

• Actively participate in cost reduction (internal and external),

• Provide feedback to management through relevant indicators 

 

PROFILE

You have acquired technical and / or purchasing experience and you have acquired experience in the industrial sector (mechanical, automotive, metalworking) of at least 5 years.

You have a good practice of a GPAO (in Luxor ideal) and Excel.

Fluency in written and spoken French/English is imperative

Your negotiating skills, your great strength of character and your pugnacity are your major assets. You know how to deal with emergencies and crisis situations and be responsive in a very fast buying cycle. Your appeal to motorsport is a plus.

Long contract full time  (218 working days per year) to be filled in early October 2017, on the Technopole circuit Nevers Magny-Cours. Salary 30 to 35 K € gross annual according to profile and experience.”
