Systems Data Controller

The position:

We are looking to recruit a Systems Data Controller to ensure master data is maintained correctly within WF1’s ERP system – Microsoft Dynamics AX. Reporting to the Business Process and Inventory Manager, you will create and execute changes to all AX master data as well as monitor and maintain the system’s interfaces with our PLM system (Teamcenter) and MRS - which generates all transactional data.

You will be required to work with stakeholders from multiple functional areas, so the ability to build good working relationships is key.

Operational Duties

Create and execute changes to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 master data.
Ensure quality, compliance and consistency of master data across the WF1 Dynamics AX system.
Undertake material and finish product data setup, validations and periodic maintenance.
Monitor and maintain system’s interfaces with Teamcenter and MRS which generates all AX transactional data.
Work with stakeholders to resolve master data and process issues.
Assist business process experts in defining new operating procedures, providing documentation and training where required.
Support the business with continuous improvements and solutions to AX process issues.
Develop methods and processes to extract and present data.
 
Core Skills

Previous data management experience with specific knowledge around Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 would be beneficial but not essential – training will be provided.
Analytically minded and methodical worker with strong attention to detail.
Process oriented and able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Ability to establish good working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functional areas.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Able to understand and investigate subjects related to multiple business areas.
Able to efficiently prioritise work and timely inform stakeholders on progress.
