Role Overview

As Fisker returns to market the Quality and reliability of the product is paramount in establishing the brand name and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires the Manager to set the standards and develop the processes that receive the incoming parts and deliver the final produced vehicles to the highest automotive standards.

We are looking for a committed and dynamic SQA Resident person. 

Responsibilities

  • In your role you will have responsibility for supporting the management of all supplier related quality issues in Plant that arise as a result of manufacturing or engineering issues
  • You will work cross functionally with our Manufacturing and Engineering teams as well as our supplier partners to provide containment and technical Problem solving support. 
  • Lead supplier teams to robustly closeout 8D reports as the SQA engineer is the key conduit between the manufacturing plant and the wider Quality organization
  • The SQA is also responsible for working with the wider Purchasing function to drive improvements in incoming quality and protect the manufacturing plant
  • Lead / support robust closure of all Supplier Quality related issues for all new model related issues 
  • Work closely with our supply partners to create and deliver robust PDCA Supplier sufficiency plans to drive zero incremental score 
  • Implement counter measures for those suppliers that have recorded significant / repeat quality issues during pre-build activities within plant. 
  • Lead / support cross functional problem solving and develop productive relationships with internal stakeholder and suppliers 
  • Your professional Profile shows previous experience in manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship management skills and experience 
  • Able to manage and execute complex projects on time and within budget 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of the organization and with external suppliers/customers 
  • Experienced problem solver and strong advocate of Lean manufacturing
